SarChem History
Sarıalemdaroglu Family founded Sarchem in 1995 with a three centuries of international commercial background and experience. In 1997, Sarchem has involved into the professional leather market with water based finishing chemicals those developed by its highly qualified R&D team and produced in its modern production facilities in İstanbul.
The expansion of finishing chemicals through the global leather market were also achieved in 1997 with a high qualified dynamic technical and commercial team. In order to fulfill the requirements of customers and find solutions Sarchem offers a wide range of products and advanced technology. The product range encompasses leather making for automotive, furniture, shoe-upper, handbag, garment and accessories.
In 2002, Sarchem China is founded and water-based cationic finishing chemicals and finishing system were developed. In 2003, Sarchem accredited according to ISO 9001 quality management system. In 2004, Sarchem continued the expansion of its global presence by opening Sarchem Thailand. This expansion was followed by the development and introduction of water based automotive and upholstery leather finishing chemicals and application systems. In 2006, Sarchem launched new water based polyurethanes for making aqueous patent leather with high gloss, those require to fulfill the highest standards of fastness. In 2008, The R&D and Quality Control Laboratory in Istanbul is modernized, well equipped with the latest technology possibilities. Following the previous successes, Sarchem R&D team started the development of a new generation, excellent performance mat topcoat systems.
In 2009, Sarchem Mexico opened to focus on the customers demands closely. In 2010, Sarchem started Wet End Chemical Business by investing production facility and application laboratory in İstanbul. Sarchem strengthened its position in leather market by introducing high quality Wet End Chemicals. In 2011, Sarchem Germany opened. In 2015, Sarchem made a new investment for the construction of a polymer production line in Istanbul facilities. The new production line constructed with latest technologies to automate the processes and produce the products with greater efficiency. In this year, Sarchem opened an application laboratory in Southern India city of Chennai to focus on better understanding of customer needs by latest developments from wet-end to finishing on a global level. In 2016, the manufacturing process started at new production line with the manufacturing of new generation mat topcoat products. In 2017, Sarchem celebrated the 20th anniversary in leather business., In 2018, Sarchem opened Ukrainan office and warehouse to focus on the customers demands closely and to deliver the customer orders just in time.
In 2019,
Sarchem opened Prestige Coating Chemicals department. Prestige Coating Chemicals department will produce and apply water based chemicals for synthetic leather and textiles. Sarchem also opened Prestige Coating Application Laboratory and organized a new skilled and trained technical application team in Istanbul. Sarchem held an inauguration ceremony at its new Ranipet application laboratory on January 29th 2020. Sarchem India application laboratory in Ranipet dedicated to give Sarchem’s customers high quality technical service with our Indian and Turkish technicians team. By working side-by-side with our customers, we will present the latest innovations and technologies for their satisfaction.
